The European College of Financial Investigation and Criminal Financial Analysis (CEIFAC) in partnership with the Center for Digital Culture (CCN) of the University of Strasbourg, organize a unique meeting, an academic conference open to the general public, on Wednesday, November 24, 2021, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. on the campus of the University of Strasbourg. The conference will be available live and on-demand.

Cyber attacks: everyone is concerned!

In a desire to open up to the public, CEIFAC, the university center for training investigators and magistrates of the European Union in the fight against organized crime, and the CCN, a space at the University of Strasbourg dedicated to discovery, awareness and training in digital technology, propose to address the theme of public awareness of the risks of the digital world.

Two round tables will be proposed for this purpose. The first round table will focus on awareness, prevention and assistance to the population. Various actors will intervene (associations, representatives of the Eurometropolis of Strasbourg, ...) and will deal with aspects related to the importance of raising public awareness in order to create and cultivate an active and effective vigilance of all and particularly by small and medium-sized enterprises in the use of digital tools. The second round table will present a more judicial approach of the subject by proposing to approach different types of attacks, scams as well as means of prevention against such acts. Finally, a time of exchange with all the experts will be proposed to the public.
